lie grounds, and to make such improvements thereof and
thereon as may from time to time seem to be necessary, as:
herein provided; and the County Commissioners of Kent
County are hereby authorized and directed to pay to the said
corporation that proportion of the entire county levy foi
roads and bridges which one-half of the total property assessed
within the limits of Rock Hall bears to the whole amount of
assessed property in Kent County, on or before the first day of
January of each year for the purpose of keeping in repair the
public ways of said Town of Rock Hall.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 136
of Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws, -title
"Kent County." sub-title "Galena," as enacted by Chap-
ter 295 of the Acts passed at the January Session of the
General Assembly of Maryland, 1906.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 136 of Article 15 of the Code.of Public
Local Laws, title "Kent County," sub-title "Galena," as en-
acted by Chapter 295 of the Acts of Assembly, 1906, be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments,
so as to read as follows:

SEC. 136. The County Commissioners of Kent County shall
annually, on or before the first day of January, 1921, and
every year thereafter, pay over to the Commissioners of
Galena that portion of the entire county levy for roads and
bridges which one-half of the total property assessed within
the limits of Galena bears to the whole amount of assessed
property of Kent County, so that the Commissioners of Galena
may receive and disburse the said amount for the purpose of
keeping in repair the public roads and bridges of said Town
of Galena.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
