such teacher shall receive an annual salary of not less than
nine hundred forty-eight dollars ($948.00), and provided fur-
then, if such teacher has taught three years, such teacher shall
receive an annual salary of not less than one thousand eight
dollars ($1,008.00), and provided further, if such teacher has
taught four, five or six years, such teacher shall receive an
annual salary of not less than one thousand eighty dollars
($1,080), and provided further, if such teacher has taught
seven years or over, such teacher shall receive an annual
salary of not less than eleven hundred sixty-four dollars
($1,164.00).

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That no assistant
teacher, having a first grade, first class, State elementary
certificate, shall receive an annual salary of less than nine
hundred twelve dollars ($912.00) ; provided, if such teacher
has taught one year, such teacher shall receive an annual
salary of not less than nine hundred forty-eight dollars
($948.0.0), and provided further, if such teacher has taught
two years, such teacher shall receive an annual salary of not
less than nine hundred ninety-six dollars ($996.00), provided,
further, if such teacher has taught three years, such teacher
shall receive an annual salary of not less than one thousand
fifty-six dollars ($1,056.00), and provided further, if such
teacher has taught four, five or six years, such teacher shall
receive an annual salary of not less than eleven hundred
twenty-eight dollars ($1,128.00), and provided further, if
such teacher has taught seven years or over, such teacher
shall receive an annual salary of not less than twelve hundred
twelve dollars ($1,212.00).

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That all teachers in
Allegany County teaching in one-room rural schools shall
receive eighty-four dollars ($84.00) more annually than teach-
ers having corresponding certificates in graded schools as
detailed and specified in Sections 2, 3 and 4 of this Act.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That no assistant
teacher in the high schools of Allegany County, having a first
grade, first class, State high school teacher's certificate, shall
receive an annual salary of less than eleven hundred forty
dollars ($1,140.00) ; provided, if such teacher has taught one
year, such teacher shall receive an annual salary of not less
than eleven hundred seventy-six dollars ($1,176.00), and pro-
