a tax which shall be sufficient to pay the interest on said
bonds and also to redeem all of said bonds which shall mature
during any year; and said tax shall be collected in like man-
ner as other taxes levied in said county are collected and when
collected shall be applied to the payment of the interest on
said bonds and to their redemption as and when they mature.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the money arising
from the sale of the hereinbefore mentioned bonds shall be
deposited by the County Treasurer of Caroline County in an
account, separate and distinct from any other account he may
have, ear-marked, "Denton School Fund," and the said funds
shall be applied to the purposes set forth in this Act and to no
other purposes whatsoever, and shall be paid by the said
County Treasurer upon the order of said Building Committee
from a warrant book specially authorized by said Committee,
with the said warrants numbered consecutively, and the said
Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to pay the con-
tractor or contractors employed by said Building Committee
in accordance with the terms of their said contracts, upon
the warrants of the said Building Committee, such sum or sums
of money as shall be certified in said warrants to which said
contractor or contractors are entitled in the performance of all
contracts, and shall pay upon the warrants of the said Build-
ing Committee the cost of plans and specifications for the work
proposed to be done, the fee, salary or commission of any
architect or architects that may be employed by said Build-
ing Committee and such other expenses as said Building Com-
mittee has incurred in the discharge of its duty; no sums of
money from the said deposit shall be paid out of the County
Treasurer except on the warrant of the said Building Com-
mittee ; and the warrant of the said Building Committee shall
be conclusive upon the County Treasurer of the propriety of
any payment or payments so that the County Treasurer shall
not be required to investigate the expenditure called for by
said warrants. In case all bids are rejected for the erection
and completion of the said building and work, and the same is
erected under the supervision of the Building Committee as
provided for in Section 4, the warrants of the said Building
Committee shall be conclusive upon the County Treasurer of
the propriety of any payment or payments and he shall honor
said warrants in the same way and manner as if the contract
were let.
