on the principle of such determination, or from any order,
of any Court in this State the effect of which is to deprive any
parent, grandparent, or natural guardian of such child of its
care and custody and upon any such appeal the facts of the
case shall be reviewed as in appeals from final decrees passed
by Courts of Equity.

CHAPTER 275.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 22
of Chapter 15 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1918.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 22 of Chapter 15 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1918 be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as fol-
lows :

SEC. 22. The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County, shall for the year 1920, and every year thereafter
levy as other moneys are levied, the sum of five thousand dol-
lars for the support of the Anne Arundel County Home, and
the fiscal year for said home shall begin on the first day of
July and end on the thirtieth day of June following in each
and every year and the money so levied for the support of
said County Home shall be payable by the said County Com-
missioners to the Trustees of said Home in four equal install-
ments payable on the first day of August, November, Febru-
ary and May, and, in addition thereto the sura of two hundred
dollars for each inmate in excess of fifteen that the Home has
contained, upon the average of the past year, up to a total of
twenty inmates, and the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars
for each additional inmate up to twenty-five inmates, and the
sum of one hundred and twenty-five dollars for each addi-
tional inmate over and above twenty-five. The Trustees shall
render proper reports to the Commissioners of all their trans-
actions and shall show their books and accounts to said Com-
missioners upon proper demand. At the end of each fiscal
year the County Commissioners for Anne Arundel County
may demand that all unexpended balances of money received
from them be turned into the County Treasurer, and for fail-
