ure to do so on the part of the said Trustees the County Com-
missioners may fine the said Trustees or any of them a sum
not to exceed fifty dollars each or dismiss from office all, or
any, of said Trustees, or both, in the discretion of said Com-
missioners, such fine and dismissal from office to be 'accom-
plished as such fine and penalties are usually accomplished.

CHAPTER 276.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 2,
4 and 5, of Chapter 178, of the Acts of 1918, entitled
"An Act to create a special taxing area or district to be
known as the Village of Northwest Park. Montgomery
County, Maryland, and to authorize, empower and direct
the Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery Coun-
ty to make special annual levies of thirty-five(35)cents on
each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the assessable value
of the real and personal property of the said village, for
the purpose of opening, improving, widening, maintain-
ing, repairing and lighting the streets, roads, lanes, ap-
proaches, alleys, sidewalks, parkings, drainage, sewerage,
sanitation and other village improvements, and for fur-
nishing police and fire protection, clerical and other pub-
lic service, including the removal of ashes, garbage and
other refuse, and the disposal thereof, and for the en-
forcement of all conveyances of land, situated in said
village, and the promulgation of building and other regu-
lations; for the reduction of the amount of said special
annual levy; for the election and succession of a commit-
tee to be known as the Northwest Park Citizens' Commit-
tee, who shall appoint a treasurer, who shall receive and
disburse such funds; also directing the said Board of
County Commissioners to pay over to the treasurer of
said village for disbursement for any of the aforesaid
purposes the money collected on account of the county
road tax in the same amount and manner now required
by law to be paid to incorporated towns in said county;
also empowering the said citizens' committee, subject to
the approval of said Board of County Commissioners, to
assess the cost of certain special improvements against the
