474. LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 272
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, That the Charter of the Maryland
Tobacco Growers' Association, being Chapter 233 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, be and the same is
hereby amended so as to provide that the principal office of
said corporation shall be located in the City of Baltimore, in
the State of Maryland, or any other place within the State of
Maryland, which said corporation shall determine by its
Board of Directors.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public safety, and being passed upon a
yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of all the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly,
the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 271.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the painting and
framing of a portrait of the late Peter J. Campbell, for-
mer member of the House of Delegates and President
of the Senate of Maryland, said portrait to be placed at
the State House in Annapolis, in the State of Maryland.

CHAPTER 272.
AN ACT to provide for the regulation, control and licensing
of horse racing within Prince George's County, and bet-
ting thereon, to create the Prince George's County Racing
Commission, and prescribing its powers and duties, to
provide license fees for the conduct of horse racing within
said county, by adding ten new sections to Article 17 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince
George's County," to follow immediately after Section
512 of Code of Local Laws of Prince George's County,
1912, to be designated Sections 512A, 512B, 512C, 512D,
512E, 512F, 512G, 512H, 512I, 512J; and to repeal all
Acts or parts of Acts of the General or Local Laws in so
far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions
of this Act.
