assessable property of the City of Hagerstown, a sum of
money sufficient to meet the obligation to be incurred by the
said the Mayor and Council of Hagerstown, under the pro-
visions of the aforegoing section.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That this Act shall take effect from June 1st,
1920.

CHAPTER 222.

AN ACT to authorize the Conservation Commission of Mary-
land to issue permits to their employees to trap game
birds and game animals on property owned or acquired
by the State of Maryland or controlled by the State Game
Department, for the propagation of game and the re-
stocking of the covers in the State of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land. That the Conservation Commission of Maryland be au-
thorized to issue permits to their employees to trap game
birds and game animals on property owned or acquired by
the State of Maryland or controled by the State Game De-
partment, for the propagation of game and the re-stocking of
the covers in the State of Maryland.

CHAPTER 223.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the State Roads Commis-
sion of Maryland to build, construct and maintain. State
Road from Queenstown, in Queen Anne's County, Mary-
land, to "Wye Mills in said county and State, a distance of
about six miles.
