Act and Certificates of Amendment, supplementary thereto
was authorized to do, or which may be necessary to carry into
effect the provisions of said Act and Certificates of Amend-
ment, supplementary thereto, be to promote the objects and
designs of said corporation; and by said name shall own and
hold all property and assets of whatsoever kind, now owned
or held by Peninsula Produce Exchange of Maryland, and
shall conduct the business of said corporation in the same
manner and to the same extent that it has heretofore been
conducted under the name of Peninsula Produce Exchange
of Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after the first day of June, in the year nine-
teen hundred and twenty.

CHAPTER 216.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 56 «f the Annotated"
Code of Maryland, title "Licenses," sub-title "Motor
Vehicles,'' as the same was repealed and re-enacted by
Chapter 85 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1918, to be known as Section 146-a, and author-
izing and directing the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles
of Maryland, with the advice and consent of the Governor
of Maryland, to enter into a reciprocal agreement with
the proper authorities of the District of Columbia for the
issuance of joint motor vehicle license tags for the bene-
fit of residents of Maryland and of the District of Colum-
bia, and authorizing the issuance of said tags by the
Commissioner of Motor Vehicles of Maryland or by the
Collector of Taxes of the District of Columbia. The pur-
pose of this Act being to authorize and provide for a
single license or identification tag for motor vehicles,
which shall be good within the jurisdiction of the State
of Maryland and also within the jurisdiction of the Dis-
trict of Columbia.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section, to be known as Section 146-a, be
added to Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title
