CHAPTER 181.

AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission to take
over turnpike road from Frederick City to Ceresville
and to construct a State road from Ceresville to the Car-
roll County line at Englar.

CHAPTER 182.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Burgess and Council of
Myersville, in Frederick County, Maryland, by repealing
and re-enacting with amendments Sections 592, 596 and
598, of Article Eleven of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Frederick County (1918), title "Frederick County,"
sub-title "Myersville," as re-enacted by Chapter 513, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, of 1908,
and Chapter 20 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
1912.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 592, 596 and 598, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Frederick County (1918). as re-enacted by
Chapter 513 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1908, and by Chapter 20 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1912, be and the same are hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as
follows:

SEC. 592. The male citizens of Myersville at the age of
twenty-one years and upwards, who have resided in said
town for one year, shall, on the first Monday of May, A. D.
1922. and every two years thereafter, on the same day, elect
by ballot a Burgess and three Councilmen, all of whom shall
have resided in said town for twelve mouths preceding the
election, and who are real estate owners in said town, and
who shall have been nominated for such office by a petition
containing the signatures of ten or more voters of said town
and filed with the Burgess at least ten days before said elec-
tion. The Councilmen together with the Burgess shall consti-
tute the Council, and from and after the election to be held
in 1920, the Burgess shall receive the sum of fifteen dollars
