Dengler, Catherine C. Kinney, and the Elkridge Fox Hunting
Club, all of said county, holders of licenses for the sale of
liquor by retail on May 1st, 1919, each the amount of $312.50,
th'e pro rata portion of said licenses for the period from July
1st, 1919, to May 1st, 1920, and said payments when made
shall be certified by said County Commissioners to the Clerk
of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage, and all Acts inconsistent
herewith are repealed.

CHAPTER 170.
AN ACT to amend Section 8 of Charter 58 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its January
Session, 1918, so as to make water rents in Hagerstown
and Washington County liens on the property in which
water supplied by the City of Hagerstown is due by ten-
ants or occupiers of said property, and providing the
manner of creating said liens and for the collection of
the same.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 8 of Chapter 58 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at its January Session. 1918,
be, and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That the provisions of
this Act shall not become effective unless the same, when sub-
mitted as hereinafter provided to the qualified voters of the
City of Ha.gerstown. at their regular municipal election, to
be held on the fourth Monday of March, 1922, shall be ap-
proved as hereinafter stated. The provision of this Act shall
be published in full at least three times in each of the daily
newspapers published and circulated in Hagerstown. the first
of said publications to be not less than ten days before the
time of said election. The manner of submission shall be,
