erty be sold for the payment of benefits until after the ex-
piration of six months from the date of the passage of the
order of the Mayor and Commissioners in the premises.
The notice herein provided to be given by the Mayor shall
apply in all cases whether the owner of the property to be
affected by the proceedings be residents or non-residents, in-
fants, non-compos mentis or laboring under any other legal
disability.
328-T. The Mayor and Commissioners of Pen Mar shall
have the power to purchase land, water power, install ma-
chinery, plant poles and erect an electric light plant and use
same for best interests of the citizens of Pen Mar, to provide
for maintenance of said plant, and are herein clothed with
every power necessary to complete same without submitting
an ordinance therefor to a vote of the qualified voters of said
town, and shall have full power to levy taxes and issue bonds
therefor, provided however, that the sum of total bonds issued
by said Pen Mar shall not exceed the sum of seventy-five thou-
sand ($75,000.00) dollars.
328-U. The Mayor and Commissioners of said town shall
have full power to contract with any railroad passing through,
adjoining or reaching said town in any matter relative to
policing, fire protection, water, lighting, entertainment, lay-
ing out of streets, maintaining streets, avenues, lanes, parks
or promenades, sanitation or sewerage.
The Mayor and Commissioners of said town shall have au-
thority to receive in the name of said town any contract,
donation or lease of any real, personal or mixed property that
in their judgment may seem beneficial to town, and are herein
clothed with authority to properly take charge, maintain or
develop any such property.
The Mayor and Commissioners of said town are author-
ized and empowered to purchase lands and build an audi-
torium for use and benefit of said town and shall have full
power to control or let out and charge for use of the same
provided the said auditorium shall be used for public enter-
tainments, lectures, music, theatre or religious services or any
purpose that in their judgment will advance the interests of
said town and shall have full power to act without submitting
the ordinance to the voters of said town at a general or special
election, and shall have power to levy taxes therefor, to bor-
row money and issue bonds to pay for said auditorium.
