said Linwood Road in a southernly direction to the said
Hagerstown and Williamsport Turnpike Road, and then from
the said last mentioned point in a straight line to the place
of beginning.
SECTION 3. And be it enacted, That all persons now residing
within the limits of said new election district and who are
registered voters in any other election district of said Wash-
ington County shall be entitled to register in said new elec-
tion district upon presenting to the Register thereof their
certificate of transfer from such other election district as is
now provided by law or whose names are transferred to the
registration book for the said new election district as herein-
after provided, and all persons that reside within the limits
of said new election district and qualified to register shall be
entitled to register and vote in said new election district, and
it shall be the duty of the Supervisors of Elections for said
Washington County to provide the proper registration books
for said new election district and have transcribed before the
first sitting for the registration for voters in the year 1920
all qualified voters residing in said new election district, and
give the same to the registers of voters in said new election
district.
SECTION 4. And be it enacted, That the polling places of
said new election district shall be at some place in the village
of Halfway to be selected and designated by the Supervisors of
Elections for said Washington County, and that said
Supervisors of Elections for said Washington County, are
hereby required to appoint the necessary registration offi-
cers and judges and clerks of election for said new election
district and make all necessary provisions for the register-
ing and voting in said new election district as they are
now required by law for other election districts of said Wash-
ington County, and that for the purpose of correcting the
registries of voters for Election Districts Nos. 2. 3, 10 and
24, it is hereby made the duty of the Supervisors of Elections
of said Washington County to furnish new duplicate regis-
tries for the said new election district, and to direct and re-
quire their clerk to make up from the registries of said Elec-
tion Districts Nos. 2, 3, 10 and 24, as said books were originally
made and inscribed, a registry of voters for said new election
district by striking from the said original registries the
names of all voters entitled to vote in said new election dis-
