notice of the filing thereof, by publication in two newspapers
published in Baltimore County, for two successive weeks, im-
mediately following the filing of such petition, and if a petition
prior to said animal levy objecting to such a special levy,
signed by an equal or larger number of taxpayers, residents of
said Village of Reisterstown, representing a larger amount
of taxable property therein than by the parties petitioning
therefor, then the said Board of County Commissioners shall
not make such additional levy for that year.

CHAPTER 151.
AN ACT to amend the Revised Code of Public Local Laws
of Baltimore County, as legalized by Chapter 16 of the
Acts of 1916, by the addition of a new section to be known
as Section 96-A, to follow immediately after Section 96
under the title "Circuit Court.''
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Revised Code of Public Local Laws of Balti-
more County as legalized by Chapter 16 of the Acts of 1916,
be and the same is hereby amended by the addition of a new
section to be known as Section 96-A, to follow immediately
after Section 96 under the title "Circuit Court," and which
is to read as follows:
SEC. 96-A. The Circuit Court of Baltimore County is
hereby authorized and empowered to designate and appoint
some competent and suitable person to act as clerk to the
Grand Jury for the purpose of securing and transcribing testi-
mony at such times and under such circumstances as the Court,
in its discretion, may deem necessary. It shall be the duty of
the person so appointed to perform the services when and as
the Court may direct, and to exercise the greatest degree of
secrecy in the performance thereof, for which he shall receive
ten dollars per day, for the time actually spent in the Grand
Jury room, which sum the County Commissioners of Balti-
more County are hereby authorized and directed to pay.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1920.
