SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 402 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, entitled "An Act to add four additional sections
to Article 37 of the Public Local Laws, entitled 'Baltimore
County,' sub-title 'Jurors,' to follow Section 136 and be desig-
nated as Sections 136A, 136B, 136C and 136D, respectively,
providing for a clerk to the grand juries of said county, de-
fining his duties and imposing a penalty for the violation
thereof," and codified as Sections 306, 307, 308 and 309 of
Offutt's Code of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore County
be and the same is hereby repealed.

Approved March 2, 1920.

CHAPTER 7.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 140
of Article 3 of the Public Local Laws, known as Offutt's
Code of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore County,
edition of 1916, sub-title "County Treasurer," providing
for the compensation of the Treasurer of Baltimore
County for the collection of State and county taxes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 140 of Article 3 of the Public Local Laws
of Baltimore County, known as Offutt's Code of the Public
Local Laws of Baltimore County; sub-title "County Treas-
urer," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, so as to read as follows, that is to say:

SECTION 140. The Treasurer of Baltimore County, in
addition to his duties as Treasurer of said County, shall be
the collector of all State and county taxes for said county
which may be levied by the County Commissioners. Before
entering upon the duties of his office he shall take an oath
before the Judge of the Circuit Court for said county, faith-
fully to perform the duties of the same. He shall execute
to the State of Maryland such bond as is now or may here-
after be required by law, as the collector of State taxes, in the
penal sum of thirty thousand dollars, with three or more in-
dividual sureties or corporate surety to be approved by the
County Commissioners; and he shall execute to the said State,
for the use of the County Commissioners of Baltimore County,
