County Commissioners in relation to said roads and bridges
are hereby repealed to the extent of their inconsistency here-
with.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That all acts and parts
of acts, laws and parts of laws, inconsistent herewith be and
the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such, incon-
sistency.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public safety, and being passed
upon a yea and nay vote supported: by three-fifths of all the
members elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its pass-
age.

Approved March 2, 1920.

CHAPTERS.

AN ACT to repeal Sectidri 195 of Article 13 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Harford County,"
sub-title "County Commissioners," and re-enact said sec-
tion with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 195 of Article 13 of the Code of Public-
Local Laws of Maryland title Harford County," sub-title
County Commissioners," be and the same is hereby, repealed,
and said section is hereby re-enacted with amendments, so as
to read as follows:

195. He shall receive such annual salary as the County
Commissioners shall direct, not to exceed the sum of $1,600.00.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1920.

CHAPTER 6.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 402 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland entitled "An Act to add four ad-
ditional sections to Article 37 of the Public Local Laws,
entitled 'Baltimore County,' sub-title 'Jurors,' to follow
Section 136 and be designated as Sections 136A, 136B,
136C and 136D, respectively, providing for a clerk to the
grand juries of said county, defining his duties and im-
posing a penalty for the violation thereof," and codified
as Sections 306, 307, 308 and 309 of Offutt's Code of the
Public Local Laws of Baltimore County.
