expending the funds provided for said purpose by said Act.
Now, therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Kent County, Mary-
land, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to levy
at the annual levy for the year 1920 the sum of six thousand
($6,000.00) dollars, and pay the same to the Galena Building
Committee, as created by Chapter 686 of the Acts of 1916,
in order that the Galena Building Committee may liquidate
and pay off the debt incurred in the erection and equipment
of the public school house at Galena, Kent County, Maryland;
provided, however, that if the whole of said sum of six thou-
sand ($6,000.00) dollars is not required to be expended by
the said Galena Building Committee in the liquidation of the
debt incurred as aforesaid, then the unexpended balance of
said sum shall be paid back to the County Commissioners of
Kent County Maryland.

SECTION 2. And be it further enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That this Act shall take effect from the
first day of June, 1920.

CHAPTER 127.

AN ACT providing for the issuing and sale of bonds by the
Mayor and Town Council of Kitzmillersville for construct-
ing, erecting and maintaining waterworks and sewer-
age in said town of Kitzmillersville, condemn such land
as may be necessary for the building of said works, and to
levy taxes on the assessable property of said town, to
redeem said bonds and to pay interest thereon, and pro-
viding a referendum to enable the qualified voters of said
town to vote upon the question of the issuance of said
bonds.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That for the purpose of establishing, constructing and
maintaining waterworks capable of furnishing the residents
of said town with a good and sufficient supply of water for
ordinary purposes and for fire protection and for establish-
