1450 JOINT RESOLUTIONS
SEC. 2. The Governor shall have the power to fill all
vacancies caused by death, resignation or otherwise and to
designate the chairman of the Commission. The members of
said Commission shall receive no compensation for the serv-
ices, but shall be allowed their actual and other expenses
while in attendance upon their duties as authorized by this
resolution.
SEC. 3. The Commission shall have power to employ such
legal counsel and other officers, advisors and employees as it
may be necessary to properly perform its duties. The salary
of any such person employed by the Commission shall be
fixed by it.
SEC. 4. The said Commission shall hold its meetings in
Baltimore City or elsewhere, and all persons who are inter-
ested in the purpose for which the Commission is appointed
may appear and give expression to their views. The Com mis-
sion shall have the right to call into consultation any person
who in its opinion, may be able to give information that will
assist in the work of the Commission, and said Commission
shall make a full report in writing of its deliberations, to-
gether with such recommendations as it may deem proper to
the next General Assembly, that shall convene in January,
1922.
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the expenses of the Com-
mission shall not exceed five thousand dollars or so much
thereof as shall be necessary, which amounts shall be paid
by the Comptroller on warrants duly signed by the chairman
of the Commission.
