nineteen hundred and twenty-one, attain the age of seventy
years; and,
WHEREAS, If he should be continued in office until the Gen-
eral Election in nineteen hundred and twenty-three, not only
will his office, but, in due course, the offices of the Chief Judge
and the remaining Associate Judge of said Seventh Judicial
Circuit, then be filled by election ; therefore,
Be it Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Honorable Pillmore Beall be, and he is hereby, continued
in office as an Associate Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit
of Maryland until the first Monday in the month of November,
nineteen hundred and twenty-three, if he shall so long live,
and until his successor shall bo elected and qualified.

JOINT RESOLUTION extending the term of Honorable
William H. Harlan as Associate Judge of the Third
Judicial Circuit of Maryland.
WHEREAS, The Honorable William H. Harlan, who is now
Associate Judge of the Third Judicial Circuit of Maryland,
will attain the age of seventy years on the 14th day of Novem-
ber, 1920; and
WHEREAS, The term for which he was elected does not
expire until November, 1926; and
WHEREAS, There is a widespread desire on the part of the
people of said Judicial Circuit that his term shall be extended
to the end of the term for which he was elected; therefore
Be it Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the term of the said Honorable William H. Harlan, as Asso-
ciate Judge of the Third Judicial Circuit of Maryland, be and
the same is hereby extended for the full term for which he was
elected, which will end in November, 1926.
