due and owing by every person, corporate institution or set
of persons, also to deliver to said Treasurer a certified copy
of the rules or resolutions of said County Commissioners
making said tax levy, and also to deliver to said Treasurer a
certified copy from such book containing the same, of a list
of each item for which and each person for whom a levy is
made and the amount thereof, and the said Treasurer shall
pay the same out of his collections upon the order of said
County Commissioners, and the said Treasurer shall receive
for his services a salary of two thousand ($2,000.00) dollars
per annum, to be paid by the said County Commissioners.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1st, 1920.

CHAPTER 734.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the painting and
framing of a portrait of the late Arthur Pue Gorman, Jr.,
former President of the Senate of Maryland, said portrait
to be placed in the State House, in Annapolis, in the
State of Maryland.

CHAPTER 735.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 59 of the Annotated
Code of Public General Laws, title "Lunatics and In-
sane," to come in after Section 7 of said Article, and to be
known as Section 7-A thereof, so as to provide for the
custody, pending trial, of persons alleged to be insane who
are charged with crime and are unable to procure bail, and
to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 8, 9, 40
and 44 of .said Article 59.
