hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the first day of June, nineteen hundred and twenty.

CHAPTER 74.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
451AA of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Frederick County," sub-title "Treas-
urer," as repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 330, Acts
of 1908 of the General Assembly of Maryland, codified as
Section 792, title "Treasurer," Dennis' Code of Public
Local Laws of Frederick County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 451AA of Article 11 of the Code of Pub-
lie Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County," sub-
title "Treasurer," as repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 330,
Acts of 1908 of the General Assembly of Maryland, codified
as Section 792, title "Treasurer," Dennis' Code of Public
Local Laws of Frederick County, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows:

SECTION 792. The said Treasurer is hereby authorized to
appoint a clerk at a salary of twelve hundred dollars per
annum; and the County Commissioners are hereby author-
ized and directed to levy said sum annually for the payment
of the salary of said clerk and the Treasurer shall pay the
same monthly.

SECTION 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from, the first day of June, 1920.
