the employment, and for the current year and thereafter the
regular percentage required under the special pension Act.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or pavts
of Acts in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent
of such conflict.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 708.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 428
and 429 of Offutt's Code of the Public Local Laws of
Baltimore County (1916), sub-title "Orphan's Court."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That, Sections 428 and 429 of Offutt's Code of the Pub-
lic Local Laws of Baltimore County (1916) be and the same
are hereby repealed and re-enacted so a,s to read as follows:
SEC. 428. There shall be allowed the said judges in addi-
tion to their salary, the sum of five dollars for each and every
day they attend the sessions of said Court to cover their
traveling expenses in so doing, to be paid by the County
Commissioners on the certificate of the Register of Wills for
said County.
SEC. 429. The judges of said court may appoint a bailiff,
who shall attend each sitting of the court and perform such
duties as the court and Register of AVills may direct, and
shall he paid quarterly by the County Commissioners, upon
the certificate of the Register of Wills four dollars per day
for each day he shall be in attendance upon said court.
