Vernon Methodist Church called '' The Lower Church ;'' and
that the call at the end of the fourth line of said survey of
said tract of land called "Trap Land" shall be changed on
said records so as to read as follows: Thence running south
78° east thirty-four poles to the land of Mrs. Belle Marsh.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted That the State Land
Commissioner be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
correct the records in the Land Office in accordance with the
provisions of this Act.

CHAPTER 706.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 128, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134 and
153 of Article 16 of the Code of Public Laws of Mary-
land, title "Montgomery County." sub-title "County
Commissioners," and to re-enact said Sections 128, 130,
131, 132 and 134 with amendments, and to add a new
section to said Article to be known as Section 128-A, pro-
viding for the election of a Treasurer for Montgomery
County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 128, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134 and 153 of
Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Montgomery County," sub-title "County Commissioners,"
be and the same are hereby repealed, and the said Sections 128,
130, 131, 132 and 134 of said Article 16 be and the same are
hereby re-enacted with amendments, and a new section is
hereby added to said Article 16, to be known as Section 128-A,
said amended sections and new section to read as follows:

SEC. 128. They shall appoint a clerk, and for his services
as such he shall receive a salary to be determined by the
County Commissioners not to exceed the sum of $2,000.00 per
annum, payable monthly, and no other compensation or com-
mission. Before entering upon the duties of his office he shall
execute a bond to the State of Maryland, to be approved by
the County Commissioners, in the penalty of ten thousand dol-
lars, conditioned for the true and faithful performance of
the duties of his office, said bond to be recorded in the office
of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County.
