in Liber W. P. C., No. 498, folio 465, Liber W. P. C, No. 517,
folio 440, and Liber W. P. C., No. 517, folio 438; and the said
County Commissioners are also authorized to grant, in their
discretion, unto The Dundalk Company, its successors and
assigns, in the streets of St. Helena and in the streets and
alleys of Colgate Park, easements and rights of way for the
construction and maintenance of a water works system and
a sanitary sewerage system with their respective appurtenances
and connections, and for the construction and maintenance
of poles, wires, pipes and conduits, and the necessary and
proper attachments in connection therewith for the transmis-
sion of electricity, and for telephone and other purposes, and
for the construction and maintenance of pipe lines for supply-
ing gas and heat, and for any other public or quasi-public
utility or function conducted, maintained, furnished or per-
formed by or in any method beneath the surface of the ground.

SEC. 2. And he it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 598.

AN ACT to aid the Gilman Country School for Boys, Incor-
porated, in raising an endowment Fund, by exempting the
trusts, terms and conditions on which it may be held,
managed and disposed of from the application of the
rule against perpetuities and exempting said fund from
debts, contracts and engagements of said corporation,
and authorizing said corporation to formulate and declare
the trusts, terms and conditions on which it may be held,
raised, held, managed and disposed of and to appoint
the trustee or trustees thereof or to act itself as the
trustee.

WHEREAS, The Gilman Country School for Boys, Incorpo-
rated, a corporation without capital stock, incorporated under
the General Corporation Law of Maryland, and which is not
operated for the pecuniary benefit of its trustees, is contempla-
ting taking steps for the raising of an endowment fund to
aid in the promotion of its corporate objects.
