SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Gilman Country School for Boys, Inc.,
may formulate and declare the trusts, terms and conditions
upon which the said endowment fund shall be created, held,
managed and disposed of, and alter the same from time to
time as experience may indicate to be most beneficial to the
School, and may appoint a trustee, or trustees, to receive,
hold, manage and dispose of said fund and the income there-
from or may itself act as such trustee and that the rule against
perpetuities shall have no application to the trusts which may
be declared in relation to said fund.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said endow-
ment fund and the investments thereof and income therefrom
shall not be liable for the debts, contracts or engagements of
the said corporation; but none of the property now belonging
to the said corporation shall be placed in said endowment
fund to escape liability for its debts, contracts or engagements
by being placed therein.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 599.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Charles County to issue bonds bearing interest at a
rate not exceeding six per cent, per annum, for the pur-
pose of refunding all bonded indebtedness of said Charles
County now outstanding, and to levy and collect the
necessary taxes for the payment of said bonds and the
interest thereon.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the. General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Charles County
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to issue
bonds in sums not less than one hundred ($100) dollars nor
more than one thousand ($1,000) dollars each, to be signed
by the President of the said Board of County Commissioners
and countersigned by the clerk of said Board, not to exceed
in the aggregate thirty-seven thousand ($37,000) dollars, and
