and Eleventh Election Districts, as now established, or to sub-
divide and change the boundaries of any precinct or establish
additional precincts in either the said ninth or eleventh dis-
tricts of Baltimore County and they are hereby empowered
and authorized to make such subdivision or additions and to
establish the boundaries of such subdivision or additions in
such way as to facilitate and expedite the casting of their
ballots by the voters thereof; provided, however, that no one
precinct in either of said districts shall contain less than
300 voters and whenever in the exercise of the discretion con-
ferred upon the Board of Supervisors of Elections by this
Act they shall appoint officers of registration and judges and
clerks of election thereof as provided by the General Laws of
the State of Maryland and the officers of registration and
judges and clerks shall perform all the duties as provided
in the General Laws.

SEC. 197D. And be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That due notice shall be given by the Board of
Supervisors of Elections of Baltimore County to all per-
sons affected or changed from said eleventh district to the
ninth election district of Baltimore County, as provided for
in this Act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all general and
local laws inconsistent with this Act be, and the same are,
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

CHAPTER 588.

AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission to pur-
chase bridges across the Potomac at Hancock, Williams-
port, Shepherdstown and Harper's Ferry, in Washington
County, Maryland.

CHAPTER 589.

AN ACT to authorize the Board of Education of Prince
George's County and the County Commissioners of
Prince George's County to issue to the amount of not
more than two hundred thousand ($200,000) dollars the
bonds of said county for the purpose of acquiring, with
