all respects, except that of proving residence, comply
with the requisitions of said acts of Assembly, and that
he satisfy said judges of Allcgany county court, that he
did not come into this State with a viev of obtaining
the benefit of said insolvent laws, and provided the
said James Doyle shall be compelled to file his petition
for the benefit of said insolvent laws with a justice of
the orphans' court of said county, who is hereby au-
thorised and directed to make the necessary orders and
discharge him from actual custody on the usual terms,
without proof of residence.

An act to change the name of Ann Iseff, of Frederick
county, to that of Ann Royer.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the name of Ann Jsejt, of Frederick
county, be, and the same is hereby changed and altered
unto that of Ann Royer; and it shall and may be law-
ful for the said Ann Isett at all times hereafter, to be
called and known by, and hold and use the name of
Ann Royer, and by that name to sue and be sued in any
court of law or equity.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all securities, pro-
mises, contracts, assurances, deeds and lawful acts
whatever, hereafter to be made and done by or to the
said Ann Isett by the name of Ann Royer, shall be in
