An act in favour of John Frame, of Washington County.
|

|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the judges of Washington county court be, and
they are hereby authorised and empowered to grant to
Jobn Frame, of Washington county, the benefit of the
several acts of Assembly, passed for the relief of in-

vent laws

|
solvent debtors; Provided the said John Frame shall in
all respects, except that of proving residence, comply
with the requisitions of said acts of Assembly, and that
he satisfy said judges of Washington county court that
he did not come into this State with a view of obtaining
the benefit of said insolvent laws, and provided the said
Jobn Frame shall be compelled to file his petition for
the benefit of said insolvent laws with a justice of the
orphans' court of said county, who is hereby authoris-
ed and directed to make the necessary orders, and dis-
charge him from actual cnstody on the usual terms,
without proof of residence.

CHAPTER 6.

An act for the re-valuation of the real and personal pro-
perty in Charles County.
|

1837.
|

|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Levy Court for Charles county be and they
are hereby authorised and empowered to meet at the
county town of said county as soon as may be conveni-
ent after the passage of this act, and there proceed to
re-value and re-assess the real and personal property
of said county agreeably to the provisions of an act,
passed at November session, eighteen hundred and
twelve, entitled, an act for the valuation of real and
personal property in the several counties in this State,
and the said levy court are hereby authorised and em-
powered to carry into full effect and operation within
the said counly, all the provisions of the aforesaid act
