LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP. 53.

SEC. 2. Ant be it enacted, That Henry D. Miller,
Benjamin B. Chambers, and Benjamin F. Sluyter, be

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That said county com-
missioners shall allow the commissioners appointed
under this law a reasonable compensation for their ser-
vices, which allowance, together with the six hundred
dollars, shall be levied and collected as other county

pointed under this law, or their order.

An act to allow Thomas Bruce, former Sheriff of
Prince George's county, further time to complete his
Collections.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Thomas Bruce, former sheriff of Prince Geor-
ge's county, and his deputies, or any agent by him ap-
pointed, be. and they are hereby authorised and em-
powered to collect and receive all and every balance
or amount of officers fees, chancery, taxes, and fines
and forfeitures, and all other sums that may be due,
and owing to the said Bruce as sheriff as aforesaid, or
to his deputies in the same manner, apd to the same ef-

iff as aforesaid, had not expired; provided, that if any
person against whom there is a claim by said Bruce,
