RESOLUTIONS.
hereby required to refund to Mrs. Emily Forrest of
said county, the amount of money heretofore unneces-
sarily paid by her to him for the introduction of cer-
tain slaves of said Mrs. Emily Forrest, into this State
from the. District of Columbia.

Resolution in favor of the Officers who commanded in
suppressing the Riots on Chesapeake and Ohio Canal.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Executive be, and they are hereby authorised to
pay to the commanding officers, or their order, on the
presentation of a muster roll, legally authenticated,
the sum or sums of money which may be due the troops
for their services, who were called out to quell the riots
on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal.

Resolution in favor of John Holland.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be, and he is
hereby authorised directed to pay to John Holland, or
order, out of any unappropriated money in the Trea-
sury, the half pay of a private during his life, as a
further remuneration for his services during the revo-
lutionary war.
