An act for the relief of the heirs and devisees of Doct.
Elisha L Hall, late of Baltimore County, deceased.

Preamble
|
WHEREAS, by the last will and testament of Doct.
Elisha I. Hall, certain lands, tenements, goods, and
chattels therein mentioned were directed upon certain
conditions to be reserved and kept together, until the
youngest child therein named arrived at age and then
to be sold and distributed as therein devised; and
whereas since the death of said deceased, the said
conditions have not and cannot be complied with, by
the devisees therein named, and the said lands, goods
and chattels, have been and are subject to great depre-
ciation and loss.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Edward E. Hall, surviving exe-
cutor of Doct. E. I. Hall, of Car roll county, and
Samuel T. Stonestreet, of Montgomery county, shall
and may, at such times as they may think most expe-
dient, after the passage of this act, upon giving at least

After notice
|
six weeks notice of the time, place and terms, of sale,
by advertisement in some newspaper, published in Bal-
|
|
|
To sell the es-
tate
|
timore city, and by hand bills to be set up in the most
public places in the county, sell and dispose of the
lands, tenements, goods and chattels, devised and be-
queathed by the said Elisha I. Hall, in his last will
|
|
|
As if of age
|
and testament to be sold, when the youngest of the
devisees therein named, should arrive at the age of
twenty-one years, as if the said youngest devisee had
attained the age of twenty-one years, and the proceeds
|
|
|
Divide proceeds
|
of said sale to divide and distribute and invest as in
the said will is required among the adult devisees of
|
|
|
Invest for the
minors
|
the said will, but the distributive share or shares of
such of said devisees as shall be minors, shall be in-
vested by the said Edward E. Hall, and Samuel T.
Stonestreet, in such stocks or securities, as the county
courts of the counties wherein said minors reside shall
