SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That an election for directors of the savage
rail road company shall beheld on the first Monday of
May next.succeeding the passage of this act under the di-
rection of Amos A. Williams, Thomas C. Miller and
Thomas Lansdale, who or any two of them, may con-

duct Raid election in the manner prescribed by the act
to Incorporate the Savage rail road company, and af-
ter giving at least twenty days public notice of the
time and place of holding said election.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That at the election to
be held as herein before provided and at all future

elections to be held, the number of directors to be
voted for shall be five, who or a majority of whom shall
have all the powers and authorities which are by the
aforesaid original act conferred on twelve directors.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That hereafter all elec-
tions for directors of said company, shall be held on
the first Monday of May, in each and every year.

Time

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That nothing herein con-
tained shall be of any force or validity whatever, un-
less the same shall be accepted at a general meeting
of the stockholders of the said company, to be held on
or before the first Monday of June next, and a copy
of the resolution of acceptance thereof, under the cor-
porate seal of said company, be on or before that day,
transmitted to the governor and council.

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to provide for
the appointment of Collectors of the County Tax in
and for the city and county of Baltimore, passed at
December session, eighteen hundred and twenty -three.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall be the duty of the commissioners of Bal-
timore county for the collection of the county tax, to
divide said county into any number of collection dis-
tricts, not exceeding five, in their discretion, and par-
ticularly to describe the boundaries and number of
