CHAPTER 206,

CHAP. 207

An act to .Divorce Sarah Godfrey, of Baltimore County,
from her husband Henry Godfrey.

1837.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sarah Godfrey, be, and she is hereby
divorced from bed, board, and mutual cohabitation,
witli her husband Henry Godfrey.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Henry God-
frey, shall not be liable for any debt to be hereafter
contracted by the said Sarah Godfrey, nor be entitled
to any property which she now has or may hereafter
acquire.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid Sarah
Godfrey, be, and she is hereby declared to be entitled
to the custody and guardianship of her children dur-
ing their minority.

CHAPTER 207.


A supplement to the act entitled, an act for the widening
of Orange Alley, in the City of Baltimore, passed
December Session eighteen hundred and twenty-seven,
chapter one hundred and twenty four.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the time limited in the sixth section,
or any other section of the act, to which this is a sup-
plement, for the execution of its provisions, be, and
the same is hereby extended to the first day of March
eighteen hundred and thirty-nine, any thing in said act
to the contrary notwithstanding.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That George Keyser,
James Comer, Daniel Metzger, Henry S. San:lerson,
Cecelius C. Jamieson, and Rezin Wight, or a majori-
ty of them, be, and they are hereby appointed commis-
sioners in th'e place of those named in the act to which
this is a supplement.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the appeal provided
for in the fifth section of said act, shall be to Balti-
more city court, instead of to Baltimore county court
as therein designated.
