and he is hereby authorised to take with him from this
State, his servant for a term of years, to the State of
Virginia; provided, that the said negro shall in person
and before the orphans' court of Prince George's coun-
ty, signify his willingness to go with the said Spencer
Mitchellto the State of Virginia, end provided also,
that the said Spencer Mitchell shall furnish the said
negro with a certified copy under seal of the deed or
will under which he may claim his freedom.

A further supplement to an act, entitled, an act to incor-
porate a company under the name of the Hydrant
Company of Port Tobacco.

Levy $1000

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the levy court of Charles county be,
and they are hereby authorised and empowered, if in
their discretion they should deem it right and proper
so to do, to levy on the assessable property of Charles
county, at their next meeting, for thc'purpose of ascer-
taining the assessment of said county, the sum of five
hundred dollars, and the further sum of five hundred
dollars at their next annual meeting thereafter for that
purpose, to and for the use of the Hydrant Company of
Port Tobacco.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Hydrant Company
of Port Tobacco be, and they are hereby authorised
and required to apply tlio said several sums of money,
provided, the same shall have been levied for their use
for the purpose mentioned in the act to which this is a
supplement.

rendered

SEC. S. And be it enacted. That the said Hydrant
Company of Port Tobacco be, and they are hereby re-
quired to render to the levy court of said county a full
and complete statement and account of the manner in
which they have applied the said sum and sums of mo-
ney, if the same shall have been levied for their use,
within one year after the same shall have been receiv-
ed by them, together with a full statement of the acts
of said company.
