CHAPTER 200.

CHAP. 201.

A supplement to an act to incorporate the Upper Marl-
borough Academy, in the town of Upper Marlborough,
in Prince George's county,

Passed Mar. 17,
1837.

WHEREAS,itis represented to this General Assembly,
by the petition of the Trustees of Upper Marlborough
Academy, in Prince George's county, that by the act
of incorporation of said academy the Treasurer of the
Western Shore was authorised and directed to pay an-
nually to the said trustees, all the money which was
then paid annually to the Trustees of Charlotte Hall
School, for or on account of Prince George's county;
and whereas, at the time of said incorporation there
was an annual charge of one hundred and sixty dollars
for interest on a debt due by said Charlotte Hall School
to the State, one-third of which the treasurer retained
from the sum directed by him to be withdrawn from the
said school and paid to the said Trustees of Upper
Marlborough Academy; and whereas, it is just and
reasonable that the said academy should now be re-
leased from the payment of interest on said debt,
Therefore:

Preamble

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Trustees of the Upper Marlborough Academy
be, and they are hereby released from the payment of
any portion of .the interest yearly payable on the debt
aforesaid, and the Treasurer of the Western Shore is
hereby directed to pay to the Trustees of Upper Marl-
borough Academy, the whole amount of money which
has heretofore been paid to Charlotte Hall School, for
or on account of Prince George's county, without any
deduction for said interest, and to deduct the same from
the donation payable to said academy at Charlotte Hall,

CHAPTER 201.


An act to enable Spencer Mitchell, of Prince George's
county, to take from this State to the State of Vir-
ginia, his servant for a term of years.

Passed Mar. 17,
1837.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Spencer Mitchell, of Prince George's county be,
