SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That if a majority of
said commissioners should refuse to act, resign or die,
the levy court of said county shall fill such vacancy or
vacancies, by the appointment of other persons residing
within said district.

CHAP. 116.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That for services rendered
under this act, the levy court of said county shall make
reasonable compensation out of the county levies.

SEC. 5. And be if enacted, That this act shall take
effect, and the commissioners therein appointed, may
proceed to the performance of their duties, immediately
on the passage thereof.

An act for the relief of Leonard C. Hnrst, of the City
of Baltimore.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Commissioners of Insolvent Debtors, for the
city of Baltimore, be and they are hereby authorised
and empowered to grant to Leonard C. Hurst, of the
city of Baltimore, the benefit of the several acts of
Assembly, passed for the relief of insolvent debtors;
provided, the said Leonard C. Hurstshall in all respects,
except that of proving residence, comply with the re-
quisitions of said acts of Assembly, and that he satisfy
the said commissioners that he did not come into this
State with the view of obtaining the benefit of the said
insolvent laws.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the will of Hugh McCabe, lately deceased, which
was heretofore recorded in the office of the Register of
Wills for Baltimore county, and duly proved by Joseph
Sinclair, by which will the said Hugh gave the parcel
of ground owned by him at the corner of Tyson street
