SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Hannah J. D. Ely, of Baltimore city,
be, and she is hereby divorced, a vinculo matrimonii,
from her husband Juda Ely.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Hannah ;
J. D. Ely shall henceforth be called and known by her
maiden name, Hannah J. D. Fearson, and shall be able

to contract and be contracted witli in all respects as if
she had not been married to the said Juda Ely, and that

she shall be entitled to the guardianship of her child
or children, which she may have had during her mar-
riage with the said Juda Ely.

An act to authorise the Levy Court of Frederick County
to abandon a certain road.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the levy court of Frederick county be, and they
are hereby authorised, if in their discretion they deem
it proper and expedient, to abandon the public road
situate in Frederick county, about four hundred yards
in length, more or less, and known and distinguished
by number seventy-nine, on the road records of Frede-
rick county, and to declare the same road abandoned
by the public, and that it shall thenceforward be
closed.
