60 ~ Case against Aaron Bishopp for fathering a bastard of Mary Simpson; Court orders Bishopp to post security; makes bond for £20 to hold the County harmless from all troubles and charges arising from the bastard; securities John Swain, William Warwick; Court orders Bishopp to pay Mary Simpson 600 lbs/tbco.
61 ~ Petition of William Matthews to be discharged from his bond for good behavior; granted.
61 ~ Robert Polke (Poke) recognizance for £10 for Jane Carr’s appearance at next Court to answer charges.
61 ~ Case against John Moore; no evidence; case quashed and informer Thomas Oxford ordered to pay costs.
61 ~ Case against John Pope, laborer, for cursing, swearing and breach of the Sabbath on 10 July 1693 at house of Peter Lowder; Peter Dent Clerk of Presentments; Pope pleads not guilty; Sheriff calls jury: Thomas Dixon, Matthew Horsey, William Banister, Adam Heatch, John Harris, Sen., Leonard Jones, Abraham Knott, William Warwick, Thomas Shiles, William Henderson, Teague Quillain, William Scott; Jury finds Pope guilty of breach of Sabbbath; Court fines Pope and orders he post security for his good behavior; Pope makes bond for £10; securities Thomas Oxford, William Bradshaw.
62 ~ James Round, Pltf. vs. Robert Howard, Deft; four depositions entered in record, and sworn in Court, all dated 10 January 1693/4, as follows: - Deposition of Charles Racliff, aged 45; recounts survey made with James Round about three years earlier on tract called Parsons Island, part of which was being contested between Round and Robert Howard at the time; commenced survey near mouth of Parsons Creek and afterwards came to a fence which Round said was on his land; counted 152 panels of fence. - Deposition of Thomas Fenwick, aged 42; recounts delivering letter from James Round to Robert Howard some three years earlier, and reading the letter to Howard in front of Richard Hill, blacksmith; letter warned Howard not to fence in Round’s land on Parsons Island; Howard said that Round had no worthwhile land on the Island. - Deposition of James Walker, aged 38; similar to testimony of Charles Racliff - Deposition of Henry Allan, aged 35; recounts meeting with Mrs. Scott about three years earlier at her house at Rehobeth, Sussex Couty, Territories of Pennsylvania; Mrs. Scott wished to have him erect a fence for the land belonging to her orphans, the land being at St. Martins, and called Parsons Island; afterwards Allan, Mrs Scott and Robert Howard went on the land to decide where the fence should be set, and Allan asked Howard if the land might be anyone else’s, but Howard assured him it was the child’s land (Scott’s orphan). - No Court action on the case recorded.

63 ~ Col. David Browne, Pltf. vs. Miriam Smith, Admx for estate of James Smith, Deft; scieri facias for judgement for 3056 lbs/tbco in 1692; confirmed.
63 ~ John Cole, Pltf. vs. John Clerke, Deft. for 425 lbs/tbco; Peter Dent, attorney for Cole, presents two notes of debt to Cole, of Owhanokin Creek in Accomac, dated 1686 and 1688, signed by Clerke; witnesses Robert Sampler, Maximillian Gore and Arthur Frame; Robert Pirrie, for Clerke, admits debt; Court orders payment, with costs.
64 ~ Henry Morgan, Pltf. vs. John Hanson, Deft. for 600 lbs/tbco; Sam Worthington, attorney for Morgan, presents bill signed 15 July 1689 by Hanson, binding him to deliver 600 lbs/tbco to Snow Hill landing by 10 October following; witnesses James Bennett, John Webb; Court orders Hanson pay the balance of 200 lbs/tbco, with costs.
64 ~ Henry Morgan, Pltf. vs. John Hanson, Deft. for 1585 lbs/tbco; Sam Worthington, attorney for Morgan, presents bill signed 3 March 1689/90 by William Winslow promising delivery of 1585 lbs/tbco to Snow Hill by 10 October following; witnesses Samuel Oglue (?), John Webb; Winslow now deceased, his widow, Mary, remarried to John Smith, but bill has not been paid (no mention of relationship of John Hanson to Winslow or Smith); Court orders that Hanson should pay the balance of 385 lbs/tbco, with costs.
