sioners shall award the contract for such printing for a period
of one year, to two or more responsible newspapers making the
lowest bids for such printing, provided such contract shall not
allow for such printing a sum exceeding in the aggregate One
Thousand Dollars.

Section 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the first day of June, 1916.

CHAPTER 472..

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 4
and 5 of Chapter 530 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, for 1914, entitled "An Act to authorize The
Mayor and Councilmen of Rock Hall, in Kent County, State
of Maryland, to issue Bonds to the extent of ten thousand
dollars, for the purpose of constructing, operating and keep-
ing in repair an electric lighting plant for the town of Rock
Hall, with a proviso that said issue of bonds for said pur-
pose be first submitted to and approved by a vote of the
qualified voters of said town of Rock Hall, " and to add
thereto four additional Sections to be known as Sections
5A, 5B, 5C, and 5D, providing for the creation of the Rock
Hall Electric Light Board, and prescribing the duties of
said Board, and submitting same to the qualified voters of
Rock Hall for their approval or rejection.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 4 and 5 of Chapter 530 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland for 1914, entitled "An
Act to authorize The Mayor and Councilmen of Rock Hall, in
Kent County, State of Maryland, to issue bonds to the extent
of ten thousand dollars, for the purpose of constructing, operat-
ing and keeping in repair an electric lighting plant for the
town of Rock Hall, with a proviso that said issue of bonds for
said purpose be first submitted to and approved by a vote of
the qualified voters of said town of Rock Hall, " be and the
same are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments;
and that four additional Sections, to be known as Sections
5-A, 5-B, 5-C, and 5-D, be and the same are hereby added
