CHAPTER 379.
AN ACT to repeal and reenact with amendments, Section 26,
of Chapter 800 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed in the year 1914, now codified as Section
26 of Article 101 in Bagby's Annotated Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 26 of Chapter 800 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-
sion thereof in the year one thousand, nine hundred and four-
teen as now codified in Article 101 as Section 26, sub-title
"State Accident Fund, " in Bagby's Annotated Code of Public
General Laws, —Be, and the same is hereby repealed and re--
enacted as follows:
Section 26. Any employer, after entering the State Acci-
dent Fund may withdraw from said fund after the period of
one year upon giving sixty (60) days' notice of his intention
so to do and upon paying all arrears, if any, of premiums due
the said fund, and upon assuring compensation to his em-
ployes by one of the other methods specified in the Act
Approved April 18th, 1916.

of Chapter 9 of the Laws of Maryland of 1908, being Sec-
tion 11 of Article 48 of Bagby's Code of Public Civil Laws
of Maryland, title "Inspectors, " sub-title "Tobacco. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 11 of Chapter 9 of the Laws of Mary-
land of 1908, Section 11 of Article 48 of Bagby's Code of
Public Civil Laws of Maryland, title "Inspectors, " sub-title
"Tobacco, " be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
as follows:
Section 11. The Inspector of tobacco shall have the power
to appoint one chief clerk at a salary of twelve hundred dol-
