lars per annum; three assistant clerks each at a salary of nine
hundred dollars per annum; two samplers of tobacco each at a
salary of twelve hundred dollars per annum; one receiving
clerk, one shipping clerk, one weighing clerk and one distrib-
uting clerk, each at a salary of eight hundred dollars per an-
num; two sampler tyers, each at a salary of seven hundred dol-
lars per annum; one janitor, one finder, one elevator and stay-
floor man, each at a salary of two dollars per day; and ten
screwmen, each at two dollars and fifty cents per day; and four
laborers, each at one dollar and a half per day! The inspector
may also, in his discretion, employ such additional help (cler-
ical and manual) as may be necessary for the efficient and eco-
nomical management of the warehouses; to be paid during
the time employed at the same rates as above fixed for similar
services; and he shall keep in his office a current public record
of such additional help employed by him, the duties to be dis-
charged and the pay to be received by the same; and he may
assign any appointee or employe to any work, deemed by him
necessary for the business of the tobacco warehouses; and he
shall (as far as possible) equitably apportion the patronage at
his disposal among the inhabitants of the tobacco-growing
counties of the State.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 387A
of Article 8 of the Public Local Laws of the State of Mary-
land, title "Cecil County, " sub-title "Wild Fowl, " and to
name said Section 387.
SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of
Ma/ryland, That Section 387A of Article 8 of the Public Local
Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Cecil County, " sub-title
"Wild Fowl, " be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments to be known as Section 387, to read
as follows:
