Church (Episcopal), near Petersville, Frederick County,
Maryland; any surplus to be used, for general parish, purposes;
said income to be expended semi-annually through the Vestry
of the Parish.
b. To the Convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church
of the Diocese of Maryland, the sum of four thousand dollars
($4000. 00), in trust, to be invested and the income thereof to
be used for the support of the rector, for the time being, of
said St. Mark's Church with full power of investment and
reinvestment as to said Convention may seem for the best
interest of the fund. The income of said fund to be so used
only during such time as morning services are held at said
Church between the hours of ten and twelve o'clock in the fore-
noon, three times each calendar month, save one in midsum-
mer, to be selected by said rector for vacation purposes; but
in the event that such morning services are suspended, and
not held as aforesaid, or for any reason altogether abandoned,
then the income of said fund shall be used for diocesan mis-
sions in the Protestant Episcopal Diocese of Maryland, pro-
vided, nevertheless, that if such morning services are revived
and continued, and whenever revived and continued at such
church as aforesaid, then and in that event, the entire income
on said fund shall be appropriated toward the annual salary
of the rector of said church for the time being, and so long
as such regular morning services, beginning between the hours
of ten and twelve o'clock, shall be so conducted three times in
each calendar month, save as aforesaid, the rector of the church
shall receive the entire income on said fund as part of his an-
nual salary.
c. To the Convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church
of the Diocese of Maryland for the use of the Trustees of the
Cathedral Foundation, the sum of six thousand dollars ($6, -
000. 00) to be designated as a memorial of Anne Claggett
d. To the Board of Trustees of the Protestant Episcopal
Foundation of the District of Columbia, the sum of six thou-
sand dollars ($6000. 00). to be designated as a memorial to
Laura E. Gray (nee Claggett), a granddaughter of Bishop
Thomas John Claggett.
e. To the Frederick City Hospital Association of Fred-
erick County, Maryland, the sum of two thousand dollars
($2000. 00).
