and be maintained after its construction the same as are other
roads constructed by the State, prior to the passage of this Act.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That in case the United States
Government shall decide to construct or participate in the con-
struction of a road over this route for military or other pur-
poses, the survey provided for in this Act shall be placed at the
disposal of the said United States officials.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall go into effect
from the first day of June, 1916.

Approved April 18th, 1916.

CHAPTER 361.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Comptroller of the State
Treasury to refund to Abraham A. Windeshein, money paid
by him for auctioneer license granted to him, which was
never used.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon the
State Treasury in favor of Abraham A. Windeshein, for the
sum of four hundred and fifty ($450) dollars, being the amount
of money paid by the said Abraham A. Windeshein into the
State Treasury for auctioneer's license and which was never
used, the payment thereof having received the recommenda-
tion of the Treasury officials of the State of Maryland.

Approved April 11th, 1916.

CHAPTER 362.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Comptroller of the Treas-
ury to refund, and the County Commissioners of Cecil
County, to levy and refund to Chaney V. Housekeeper, ad-
ministrator of P. B. Housekeeper, deceased, sums of money
erroneously paid as taxes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury is hereby
