on which shall be printed or painted, in black, in such manner
as said Clerk shall choose; a number corresponding with that
of said certificate, the year in which issued and the name of
said Clerk; which certificate and tag shall be non-transferable.
It shall be the duty of every hunter to wear, in a conspicu-
ous manner, between the elbow and shoulder of the left arm,
said tag; except, that in the absence of the left arm, said tag
shall be so worn on the right arm; Provided, that no license
shall be issued to any person under fourteen years of age, nor
to any person under sixteen years of age, without the written
consent of his father, mother or legal guardian; and provided,
further, that nothing in this Act shall prohibit any owner or
tenant of lands in Washington County, his or her children,
guests, servants, or members of his or her family, all residents
of Washington County, from hunting on said lands, without a
license. Provided, however, that all Hunting Clubs owning or
leasing property in Washington County as a private game
preserve with an acreage of two hundred (200) acres or more,
shall pay an annual license fee of Two Hundred Dollars, and
'that the members and guests of any such Club shall not be
required to pay an additional license to hunt, or gun on prop-
erty owned or leased by such clubs in Washington County;
and provided further, however, that any hunting Club formed
or organized solely by residents of Washington County shall
not be required to pay any special license fee for the privilege
of hunting in Washington County, but the members thereof
shall pay the same license as provided herein for residents of
Washington County; and provided, also, that nothing con-
tained in this Act shall prevent the hunting of rabbits, wild
turkeys and deer during the open season, when snow is on the
ground, by anyone having a legal right to hunt in Washington
County.
Section 34F. Any person or persons going upon the lands
of another to hunt, shall, when requested so to do by the owner,
tenant or other person in possession or occupancy of said land,
immediately show his written permission, his license and his
number, and upon his refusal to show and exhibit either said
written permission, license or number, the owner, tenant or
other person in possession of said land, or any game warden,
sheriff or constable of said County shall be and is hereby au-
thorized to arrest said person or persons and take him or them
before the nearest Justice of the Peace for trial, and said Jus-
tice shall immediately or as soon thereafter as convenient, try
