road in Carroll County, between Mount Airy and Westmin-
ster and file a copy of said survey and estimate in. their office
for public inspection; the cost of making such survey and esti-
mate to be charged against the allotment of State 'Road Funds
for Carroll County in the hands of the State Roads Commis-
sion.

CHAPTER 319.

AN ACT to prohibit non-residents from hauling a seine or fish-
ing with gill-nets, fikes, traps or set nets of any kind in the
creeks, coves, branches and tributaries of Middle River, in
Baltimore County, other than in the river proper, without
first obtaining the permission in writing of the owners or
occupiers of the banks. or shores of such creeks, coves,
branches. and tributaries aforesaid, in front of which any
such seine or nets may be placed, and to provide a penalty
therefor.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall not be lawful for non-residents to haul
a seine or to fish with gill-nets, fikes, traps or set nets of any
kind or description in any of the creeks, coves, branches and
tributaries of Middle River, in Baltimore County, other than
in the river proper, without first obtaining the permission in
writing of the owners or occupiers of the banks or shores of
such creeks, coves, branches and tributaries aforesaid, in front
of or opposite to which any such seine, gill-net, fike, trap or
set net of any kind or description is or may be placed.

SEC. 2. Any person violating the provisions of this Act
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punished by
imprisonment for not more than six months, or by a fine of
not less than one hundred dollars, or both in the discretion of
the justice of the peace before whom such offender may be
tried, of which fine one-half shall go to the informer.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1916.
