shield bearing the words "Deputy Game Warden" which he
had previously received from the said Chief Game Warden
when he obtained his commission, and should said deputy game
warden so removed as aforesaid not return said shield to the
Chief Game Warden within thirty days from the date of said
service of said copy of removal as aforesaid, such deputy game
warden shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con-
viction thereof, shall be fined five dollars for each offense.

SEC. 44-N. Nothing in this Act shall be construed to in any-
wise prevent the Chief Game Warden of Harford County, the
Deputy Game Wardens, or any other person or persons from
having the birds and game mentioned in this Act in their pos-
session during the closed season for the purpose of propagation,
provided such person or persons shall first secure from the Chief
Game Warden of Harford County a written permission so to do.

SEC. 44-0. Every person who is a bona fide resident of Har-
ford County shall in the discretion of the Chief Game Warden
of Harford County be entitled to an allowance of fifty cents
for every chicken hawk, pigeon hawk, booby owl or weasel taken
and killed by such person within the limits of said County,
which allowance shall be paid out of the funds arising from
the sale of licenses and for fines in the hands of the said Chief
Game Warden of Harford County.

SEC. 44P. Any person killing any chicken hawk, pigeon
hawk, booby owl or weasel shall produce the head of same be-
fore some Justice of the Peace of said County, and make oath
that said hawk, owl or weasel was taken and killed within the
limits of Harford County within six days then preceding, and
the Justice of the Peace shall thereupon give such person a cer-
tificate wherein he shall set forth the oath and shall at the same
time destroy the head of said hawk, owl or weasel so as to
prevent a second allowance; and the Chief Game Warden afore-
said shall in no case pay the allowance provided for in Section
44-0 until the certificate as provided for in this Section is pre-
sented to him, and in all cases in which he shall pay the allow-
ance provided for as aforesaid, he shall keep the certificate of
the Justice to be filed by him as a voucher when making his
report to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Harford County
as hereinbefore provided for in this Act.

SEC. 45. Any person against whom any Justice of the Peace
shall render a judgment under the provisions of the preceding
