assigns, the said Stone Arch Bridge across the Monocacy River
and certain Roads leading thereto, referred to in said Act of
1904, Chapter 342, at or near the Iron Stone Ridge at a
point commonly known as Stump's Hill, for the use of said
County, as fully and to the same extent as other County Bridges
and Public Roads are now held and owned by said County, at
and for the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50, 000. 00),
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20, 000. 00) of which purchase
price and no more shall be paid by the County Commissioners
of Frederick County for and on behalf of said County, and
Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30, 000. 00) by the State of Mary-
land out of Frederick County's apportionment or allotment of
the annual appropriations made or hereafter made by the State
for the construction of State Aid Roads or Bridges in the Coun-
ties.
The Roads to be included in, and considered a part of the
aforesaid property and to be included for said purchase price
to the County Commissioners as aforesaid, shall be as follows:
Road 1. The Oak Hill Road beginning at Oak Hill and
running north to the Le Gore Stone Arch Bridge.
Road 2. The Rocky Ridge Road beginning at Stump's Hill
near the Bridge and running in a northernly direction and
connecting with the roads leading to Creagerstown and Loys
Station.
Road 3. The Mehring and Wood Road beginning at or
near the Le Gore Bridge and running northwest connecting
with the Rocky Ridge Road at Woods Corner.
Road 4. The Barrick and Angel Road beginning at or
leading from the aforesaid Rocky Ridge Road at a point 3/4
of a mile more or less north of the Le Gore Stone Arch Bridge
and running in a northeasterly direction and connecting with
the County Road leading from Rocky Ridge to Detour on the
Western Maryland Railroad.
Road 5. The New Midway Road beginning at the Bridge
at Stump's Hill and running east and connecting with, roads
leading to Detour, Ladiesburg, Johnsville, Etc.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Frederick County, be and they are hereby au-
thorized and directed to borrow the sum of Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($20, 000. 00) at a rate not to exceed 4 1/2% per annum,
and to execute good and valid notes or bonds therefor as
County Commissioners on the credit of said County; but said
