WHEREAS, the town has, sometime ago, purchased a lot in
Spring Hill Cemetery which is used for burying strangers iii
and have not used, for a long time, the tract of land known as
the Potters Field; and
WHEREAS, said lot known as the Potters Field has grown up
in briars and bushes and has become unsightly and a nuisance
to the surrounding neighborhood and it is deemed proper and
right that the same shall be sold and made useful; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Mayor and Council of Easton be author-
ized to sell and convey the tract of land owned by them on the
West side of the road leading from Easton to Goldsborough's
Neck, known as the Glebe Road, said tract being known as the
Potters Field and containing about two acres of land, the said
Town to make proper provision for the removal of any bodies
buried therein to some better and more suitable location.

CHAPTER 22.
AN ACT to create a special taxing area or district to be known
as the Village of Drummond, Montgomery County, Mary-
land, and to authorize, empower and direct the Board of
County Commissioners of Montgomery County to make
special annual levies of thirty-five cents on each One Hun-
dred (100) Dollars of the assessable value of the real and
personal property of the said village in Montgomery County,
Maryland, within the boundaries of said village, for the
purpose of opening, improving, widening, maintaining, re-
pairing and lighting the streets, roads, lanes, approaches,
alleys, sidewalks, parking, drainage, sewerage, sanitation
and other village improvements, and for furnishing police
and fire protection, clerical and other public services, in-
cluding the removal of ashes, garbage and other refuse, and
the disposal thereof, and for the enforcement of the require-
ments of all conveyances of land, situated in said village,
and the promulgation of building and other regulations; for
the reduction of the amount of said special annual levy; for
the selection and succession of a committee to be known as
the Drummond Citizens' Committee, who shall appoint a
Treasurer who shall receive and disburse said funds; also
