the said Liquor Board and he was required to pay the sum of
two hundred thirty-five dollars and 13/100 ($253. 13) to said
Liquor Board for a Liquor License covering the period from
October 4, 1910, to May 1, 1911, to sell liquor at the same
place for which the license to Catherine Laupp was issued;

AND WHEREAS, The said Liquor Board was authorized to
transfer said license to Allison and should have made the
transfer and had no right to require the said Allison to pay
the sum of two hundred thirty-five dollars and 13/100
($235. 13), which amounted to two (2) licenses' for the same
place of business for the period from October 4, 1910, to May
1, 1911, and the said James B. Allison is entitled to have the
said sum of two hundred thirty-five dollars and 13/100
($235. 13) refunded to him, therefore—

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Board of County Commissioners of Prince
George's County be and it is hereby authorized and directed
to levy, at its next annual meeting for that purpose after the
passage of this Act, the sum of two hundred thirty-five dollars
and 13/100 ($235. 13) and the said Board shall pay or cause
to be paid the amount so levied to the said James B. Allison.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect as soon as may be under the provisions of the Constitu-
tion of the State of Maryland.

' CHAPTER. 589.

AN ACT to regulate the licensing of auctioneers in Prince
George's County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That no person shall be entitled to engage in business as
an auctioneer in Prince George's County unless he shall have
first taken out a license as hereinafter provided.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That it sh^ll be the duty
of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of said County to issue
auctioneer licenses to such persons as may apply for and be
entitled to them under this Act, and according to the con-
ditions and provisions of this Act, the amount so received
