(Aquasco) and that part of No. 11 (Brandywine) east of the
Popes Creek branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad. The road
equipment of Prince George's County shall be divided as
equally as possible by the County Commissioners into six parts,
each of which parts shall be exclusively used in one of the
above-named road districts, unless otherwise transferred by the
County Commissioners for emergency work. When it is inex-
pedient or impossible to work the roads, the County Commis-
sioners shall arrange to take care of said equipment in such
manner as shall be least expensive and most advantageous to
the County.

SEC. 282. The following persons are hereby named as Road
Directors to have charge of the working of the roads in the
several Road Districts of Prince George's County until the first
Monday in March, 1918.
First Road District, John D. Smith,
Second Road District, William W. Brady,
Third Road District, Benjamin E. Randall,
Fourth Road District, Herbert M. Hardy,
Fifth Road District, Richard B. Edelen,
Sixth Road District, William S. Chichester.

Each, of said Road Directors herein named and those here-
after to be appointed, under the provisions of this Act, shall
be removable by the Board of County Commissioners for in-
competency, neglect of duty, misconduct or malfeasance in office,
after charges preferred due notice and public hearing. If any
Road Director shall be dissatisfied with the action of the Board
of County Commissioners in removing him, he may appeal to the
Circuit Court for Prince George's County within ten (10) days
from the date of his said removal, such appeal shall be in the
nature of a proceeding by way of certiorari and shall be deter-
mined by said Court as speedily as possible after hearing the
same.

At the last meeting in the month of January, 1918, and every
year thereafter, the County Commissioners of Prince George's
County shall appoint six Road Directors for said County to
serve in the six road districts herein created for a term of one
year from the first Monday in March next succeeding their ap-
pointment, or until their successors shall be duly elected and
qualified. The Road Director for each district shall be a resident
in the district for which he is appointed. In case of a vacancy
occurring in any district by reason of the death, resignation or
