SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 78 of Article 91, Bagby's Annotated
Code of the Public Civil Laws of Maryland, be and the same
hereby is repealed and the following new section substituted
therefor:
Section 78. Any road heretofore or hereafter constructed
under the provisions of this sub-title shall thereafter be a State
Road and the State Roads Commission shall have the same
authority over said road as it has over other State roads or
highways and shall maintain and repair the same as a part
of the State Roads System. Provided they are first put in good
repair by the Counties.

CHAPTER 537.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners to establish
and build a new Police Station House at Canton, in Balti-
more County, at a cost not to exceed fifteen thousand dol-
lars, or repair the present Police Station House at Canton
at a cost not to exceed Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dol-
lars.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Baltimore Coun-
ty are authorized to establish and build a new police station
house at Canton, in the Twelfth Election District of Baltimore
County, at a cost not to exceed fifteen thousand dollars ($15, -
000) or repair the present Police Station House at Canton at a
cost not to exceed Seven thousand, five hundred dollars, for the
building and any land that may be required for the purpose,
and to pay for the same out of the public funds of Baltimore
County.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Comity Commis-
sioners are authorized to acquire by purchase or condemnation
any land or property required to carry out the purposes of this
Act.
